To The Official Website of Secaucus Engine Co. 1, Home of "The Working One". We were established in 1900, and have been providing emergency services to the citizens of Secaucus for over 110 years. We are located at 150 Plaza Center Road, Secaucus, New Jersey, directly across the street from the CVS Pharmacy. We as a company operate as part of the Secaucus Volunteer Fire Department, which is made up of 5 different fire companies. We responded to an average of 650 calls per year, and are currently serving a population of 20,000 town citizens which triples on a normal business day. Our current responds area covers 6.5 square miles, in addition we responded on almost every emergency call which varies from alarm of fires to structure fires to hazardous materials spills to standbys during hazardous weather (Hurricanes / Snow Storms/ Server Weather Conditions). We also respond to mutual aid calls to aid and assistance any towns in Hudson and Bergen Counties.

Secaucus Engine Co. 1 was dispatched on a mutual aid coverage assignment to Jersey City. Engine Co. 1 provided emergency coverage for 2 hours while Jersey City's Bravest battled a multi-alarm fire.
